JS Pro App Reviews

A handy thing to have!

I am learning JS and found this reference handy to have. I usually write the code on my laptop with this guide open on my iPad. At 99 cents, why not? People could find free guide anywhere on the web, but they are disorganized! Great job!

Enjoy, but!

Fulltext search is required!:)

Impressive!

The information is accurate, well organized, and very nicely presented. Its also very comprehensive as "quick guide." Call me a geek, but it even makes a good "cover to cover" read. Well worth the current $0.99 price.

Excellent reference!

A great tool to have on your iPad or any iOS device. Especially if you code on your iPad like I do. Complete, concise and an effective interface.

No nonsense, handy reference

While most references try to out do each other with fancy features or clever writing, this Quick Guide is a straight forward, easy to navigate reference. It puts Javascript at your finger tips on the iPad and makes a great desk side companion for coding.

Awesome

This app is awesome... The best Ive bought!!

Good Basic Reference

Looks like a good basic reference. It launches quickly and works great to scroll fast to those basic functions that you cant remember the syntax. Has basic code examples on most entries.

Just what the doctor ordered

Its a quick, easily browsable reference - just as advertised! Nice! Converts my iPad into a programming sidekick.

Great app

This app along with the HTML5 reference apps are phenomenal for the traveling dev. Similar to w3 schools, but no Internet required.

I Love this!

Im just learning Javascript and this has been a very valuable tool for me. For the price, it cant be beat. Highly recommended

Good Score!

The easiest to understand JavaScript guide ever!

Nice app. Well done.

Great app. Good job. One suggestion: add a next topic button (or some such control) for people using the app to learn or as a refresher.

Nice

Well done. Im learning and this is a nice reference. Id like to see some of the typos fixed in an update please.

Pretty bad

dosent have some ecmascript5 functions.

Disappointed..

While there are many examples and I would say references in this compact app is great but all of the examples provided use "document.write" in the execution of the script which is whats really disappointing because its bad practice - hopefully youll eventually take the time to include the alternative which is not only better but necessary, be it a lengthier example. I would imagine everyone learning would prefer to learn proper JavaScript rather than dated bad practice. W3 school gives the same examples pretty much even though they too cite it as bad practice, but at least they provide it free, still, even for free, if someone is investing their time I would think theyd much prefer to learn the correct methods from scratch. Seriously, provide the alternative in the examples and Ill revise this review.. Would be five stars upon such a revision.

Great reference app

I love these apps. I hate opening a browser and switching windows when I am coding. This reference is searchable, and improves my workflow. Great app.

Brilliant

Very infrequent do I leave reviews for apps, but I felt that this app warranted a nice 5 star encouragement review. Tons of info, and very good instructional explanations. Bravo devs!!!!

Great app!

So useful to me! Well done, thank you!

AWESOME

This app rules!would pay 5$for it!!!

Simple app, could be better

The app is pretty straight forward. The layout is nice and clean, very easy to read. But the search function could use a lot of update to include searching the content instead of just the index. For example, if you want to see how to write an if-else statement, you have to search "conditonals" because search "if" or "else" will give you "shift()", "unshift()", and "IFrame". So if you are not familiar with the coding already, this is very difficult to use.
